Psicologa e psicoterapeuta sistemico-relazionale, è ricercatrice confermata in Psicologia Clinica e Professore aggregato all’Università degli Studi di Bergamo. È membro dei Collegi didattici del Dottorato in Psicologia Clinica e della Laurea Magistrale in Psicologia Clinica, presso cui insegna “Tecniche del colloquio clinico con l’individuo, la famiglia e i gruppi” e “Psicologia Clinica (corso avanzato)”.
Svolge da anni attività di ricerca in ambito clinico, principalmente nel campo della psicopatologia e della psicoterapia. I suoi interessi di ricerca si concentrano in particolare sul legame tra le semantiche familiari e la psicopatologia, l’analisi semantica della conversazione terapeutica, i fattori specifici di cambiamento nelle psicoterapie sistemico-relazionali. Ha alle spalle diverse pubblicazioni ed esperienze professionali, in particolare nel campo dei disturbi alimentari e dell’obesità, conseguite collaborando con diversi centri specializzati in Italia e all’estero.
È vice-direttore del CISAlpino Institute for Comparative Studies in Europe(CCSE), Centro di Ricerca di studi comparati, con sede presso l’Università degli Studi di Bergamo e membro co-fondatore dell’European Family Therapy Research Group (EFTRG).
